Musselburgh Art Club was formed some 30 years ago to encourage members of the local community to pursue their interests in painting, sculpture, pottery and crafts.
The Club has around 50 members from East Lothian and Edinburgh who meet several times a week to chat, paint and share their knowledge.
Our superb studio facilities at Bridge Street in Musselburgh are the envy of the painting community and can be used by members at any time. We also have regular lectures, demonstrations and expert tuition.
We hold our Summer Exhibition every July in the Town Hall where we encourage all members to produce works of art for display or sale. In addition we also run a Winter Craft Fair and display works in various venues throughout the year.
If you are interested in any form of visual art, and live within commuting distance of Musselburgh, why not come along to one of our regular meetings. You can see the facilities available, meet some of the members, sample the atmosphere, and see at first hand the kind of things we do.
We welcome new members from complete beginners to budding Rembrandts.
